Skydive Chicago Hosts US Nationals

OmniSkore! coverage of the 2007 US Nationals.
Omnibits by Jan Meyer

7 am Sept. 13, 2007
Good morning. We have blue skies, light winds and plenty of planes for 16-way and accuracy.

8 am
The first load of accuracy jumpers were not given a pass upwind of the target. The jumpers asked the pilot to take them down. They worked out the traffic conflicts with the 16-way teams. Accuracy is back on and is getting reasonable jump runs.
The first round of 16-way has Airspeed with 9, Black Knights with 8 and Deguello 17 with 7.

11 am
Slow day today. 16-way judges are waiting for an entire round to be jumped by all teams before judging a round. Accuracy has completed two more rounds but the judges need more time to collate/check the scores.
Next round in 16-way is supposed to be faste, according to Tim.

12:30 pm
Accuracy has finished round 8. Here's a news flash - Cheryl Stearns got 12 cents on round 7 and has dropped to 4th place.

4:30 pm
Final Style results are in.
Men: Jimmy Hayhurst, Jimmy Drummond, Drew Riffle.
Women: Elisa Tennyson, Cheryl Stearns, Angela Nichols
Congratulations to all.
