Good Morning! Once again another glorious day at Skydive
Arizona, where we just might end up finishing the
2012 USPA
Nationals one day ahead of schedule. Finishing up AE and
doing 10-way speed FS (YAHOO!). - T2
There are THIRTEEN
10-way Speed teams. WOO-HOO! The
very first competition FS event (1972?) is alive and strong and
it is so much fun. Who will win the coveted
C.G. Godfrog
award? Who will win the Judges' Choice medals? Who will have
bangs and bruises from the door? Stay tuned!
10:45 a.m.
My early guess is 10-way is going to be a good old fashioned
duke-nukem between the Golden Knights and Airspeed...they are
separated by about 1.5 seconds after two rounds...
11:30 a.m.
Golden Knights headed up for round 3!
The Hangar is buzzing with
Artistic Events competitors. Check in for Freefly scores
as they are updated!
12:00
The first 6 teams in Round 3, 10-Way have been judged and they
all received the maximum score of 35!
Oooo! A 7th team got 10.88
Yes, that's the Golden Knights! Nice!
12:15 p.m.
Freefly Open is finished and the Winner is SoCal Converge!
Congratulations!
1:00 p.m.
After 3 rounds of 10-way the Knights have taken the lead
over Airspeed and lead by 1.14 seconds. This one is going to be
fun to watch! - T2

1:35 p.m.
Golden Knights are prepping their next round.

1:45 p.m.
And Round 4 of 10-way is finished being judged and the scores
are posted. Golden Knights in first place, with a 6.5
second lead going into the last two rounds. Arizona
Airspeed is currently in 2nd place.
3:00 p.m.
After five rounds of 10-way, the Golden Knights have a
commanding lead with one left to go. Airspeed will have to make
up nearly 9 seconds to catch up. But in 10-way, anything can
happen, so we shall see....
4:30 p.m.
The Golden Knights cap off an outstanding performance at the
2012 USPA Nationals by winning 10-way speed in convincing
fashion. And the "shenanigan" brought a loud round of applause
by the audience: The team set up two rows of solos all facing
Brian "BK" Krause and gave him a salute, then he tracked off
from his final competition jump at a USPA Nationals. Well done,
team!
There will more posted later after we determine the winners of
the C.G. Godfrog award and the Judges' Choice award. Will try to
have some pictures too.

The judges have awarded the Judges' Choice award to
Airspeed. I would describe their final shenanigan, but this is a
