OmniSkore! coverage of the 2007 US Nationals.

Pre-Meet Stuff
On Aug. 30, two OmniSkore! systems were sent to Skydive Chicago. The third system is vacationing
in Italy and will be sent on Sept. 3.
Tim has been bugging me about pre-setting up some files. I told him that I was rearranging things.
I automated team page creation and changed the site so that it
would not use frames. I am pretty sure all these changes will work
ok. We will find out next week for sure. But the changes all work on the development server.
I travel out to Skydive Chicago on Sept 6th. I get there early enough to
set up the OmniSkore systems that afternoon.
I am looking forward to a great meet and seeing all of you again.

OmniSkore! has a new feature that competitors and their sponsors will like.
We can add sponsor logo graphics that are linked to the sponsor's website or specific product page.

Well, we are going to have to get a new calendar for Tim. Hey, Tim - don't go changing
your post to correct the typo - you have to use strike outs for major faux paxs.
I am now packing up for the trip. Let's see, how many ethernet cables and of what length do I need?, how
many ethernet hubs do I need? (did I test them to make sure they worked?),
will this video mixer fit in with all the other stuff?,
make sure you charge up the cell phone and digital camera,
oh yeah bring those adapters with you too, did you call the dog sitter and confirm?,
did you call the
driver to get you to ONT before the crack of dawn?
I guess I need some clothes too. I have this way cool t-shirt from Stupino.
It only cost me $28 USD, but they went out
of their way to provide it to me.
What else do I need to do?

Two systems were set up yesterday afternoon. Then the judges practiced
until 8:30 pm. We expect the 3rd system from Italy to arrive today.
Most of the FS judges came in yesterday at all hours of the night.
The skies are cloudy now, temps around 75-80 for today. The wind is suppose to pick
up too. But the good news is that it is all supposed to blow over rather
quickly. The forecast for the weekend, that will be filled with awesome
4-way, is clear skies and slightly cooler temps. Seems like great
skydiving weather to me.

Teams number draws and the draw itself are in progress.
They are almost done with the teams name/number draw.
We will be here a little while longer getting the draws
finished up.
