Skydive Chicago Hosts US Nationals

OmniSkore! coverage of the 2007 US Nationals.

There are some thin, scattered clouds, but they probably won't interfere with jumping. The first CF 4-way load took off. CP is having a briefing. The judges are gathering to judge the last round of vRW.

Throw 'em Together got busted down to 1.
Dallas Vibe got busted to 5 because of an incorrect inter.
Drive lost one point to video framing. The Drive photographer is setting up almost directly below the group. It is a much better position than the first dive. They get 10 and have first place locked up.
Train Wreck gets an 8.
Elsinore Jedi gets a 7.
Train Wreck takes second place and Elsinore Jedi takes third. Greeat flying by all.
On to open vRW....
Mandrin gets a 15 with a bust on point 2.
Arizona Arsenal gets a 19 that was very nice.
Faction has a super jump and posts a 13. They lost the exit point because of video angle.
All the Open class teams were awesome to watch. Congratulations to all 3 teams. I hope more teams take up vRW. It is very cool.
On the last round in open all the photographers were below the team and remained stationary with respect to the team. All 3 videos seemed to catch all the grips, except for the exit point.

10 am That thin layer of clouds thickened up and put everyone on hold for awhile. Round 7 of CF has just landed. CP is starting round 1.

High Noon
CF round 8 is being judged now. CP is into round 2. I do not know when Kiki will be giving me the scores for CP.
Speed 8-way CF is on a 10 minute call. Time for more pictures.

3 pm
Things are moving slowly today. There is only one otter online for CF, fun jumps and students. Round 2 of speed crw is up. Fayard Speed has a 9 second lead over Crewzin. Frayed So is in 3rd place.

6 pm
Erin switched my flight to 10 am tommorrow. I will be enroute from 5 am (CDT) to 6 pm (PDT). Updates will happen after I get back home. I have another CF video and scores for CP. Thanks Erin for the early flight home. My dogs and I appreciate it very much.
