AE Bits Sunday 12  September

Today is Sunday and we woke up to winds.....lots of winds. So everyone is wondering around the DZ getting used to their new surroundings. Just holding tight right now waiting for them to come down....looks like a strong 25-30+. Not sure exact number but not the best time for jumping......but maybe a cross country....hmmmmmm

Ok....didn't ever get a number on the winds, but I did manage to notice that the big tent that they setup had some issues with the wind. Here are a few pics of the wind damage. So yeah.......we weren't jumping for good reason. Also some shotz of the DZ, the delegation smaller tents.....the not yet finished hotel.....man, that would have been perfect......and the swoop pond.

Ok.....since we can't jump, I'll share some of the local......errrr......interests. Check these out.....I guess they are termite hills......not sure what kinds of termites are around here, but they tend to cover a lot of the empty fields. And from what I hear.....you do NOT what to hit them when you land. They're like concrete and can get up to 5 feet tall........
