The OmniSkore 2002 Competition Formation Skydiving tour
kicks off here this weekend with SSL Meet 1 at Perris Valley
Skydiving. There are two Open teams (one of them is
Airspeed Vertical) and six Intermediate teams. Airspeed
Vertical has Chad in Johnny's slot for the weekend. I have a
good problem: Skydive Perris has supplied me again with a
delightfully quick internet connection, but I can't use it
and score at the same time (only got one LAN card in this
laptop), so I'll be posting all the results and a few bits
at the end of the day. And it is a beautiful day here in
California and the first load is up, so it's time to go to
work, come check out the results later today. - Tim

Well how about that, a little cable swapping and I can
do this internet thing without reboots. Cool! Round one is
done, and Airspeed Vertical tripped on the end of a
Ritz>Pick JUST enough to twitch my bust finger. They
looked real good otherwise. Their only competition in the
Open class is Delirium, and they had a very nice round one,
their skydiving looks very smooth with good video. Round two
tapes coming in now back to work...

hmm...the two Open teams are from Eloy and all six of
the Intermediate teams are from Perris or
Elsinore...hmm... 1530
...I can't remember a prettier day since, well, since
leaving Phoenix yesterday...just beautiful...speaking of
beautiful, Johnny "Rocket" Eagle better look out,
Chad is making his slot look easy...after dinner last night,
breakfast this morning, and lunch awhile ago, I say the Bomb
Shelter is still one of the top (if not the top) DZ
restaurants in the business... 1700
...well, the last round is done, and they're about to
hang the medals around the winners' necks, which means it's
BEER THIRTY! This was yet another nice meet at Skydive
Perris, they know how to do it right here (ALMOST as good as
Eloy). See you next time!
