Well, the proverbial fat lady has warbled, and the show came to an end last night with a very nice banquet in the "new" hangar west of the DZ. Dinner was Chicken Cordon Bleu, catered by the fine folks from the Holiday Inn, with salad, veggies, potatoes, and chocolate cake for desert. Al Gramando read a long list of thank-yous that included pilots, manifest, drivers, janitors, and so on, but when he got to hosts Larry and Lil Hill, there followed a very long and worthy standing ovation for the family that built this skydiving paradise in the desert. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful week. Oh yeah, some photos from last night. Here's what I got before the batteries died. Ciao!
