Ashley Crick's Freestyle & Skysurf Notes

Friday 22nd October

The day starts slow with competition not beginning until 2pm due to weather. The first of the free rounds is upon us with most of the competitors breathing a huge sigh of relief. Now we get a chance to play!!!!! The current scores are likely to be no indication of the remainder of the competition with 8 rounds still to go.

Rounds three and four extends the Russians lead in Men's skysurfing. Eric Fradet (France) edges into second place with Oliver and Marcus (Switzerland) cementing their position in third. Some scoring trends are beginning to emerge but it is still very early days yet. In the women's skysurf, Vivianne and Knut (Switzerland) show their experience by overtaking Tanya (USA) to take first position after 4 rounds.
